The swallow-tailed kite a creature not often spotted in Canada, and it’s drawing bird watchers from across Ontario to LaSalle. A swallow-tailed kite, a bird in the raptor family most commonly found in the southeastern United States, has made itself at home in LaSalle not far from the Vollmer Complex for about a week now.
